Mr. Darrell Bohanan, age 76 of Royston passed away July 9, 2012 at Life Care Center of Lawrenceville.  He was born February 2, 1936 in Covington, Georgia to the late Olin Steele and Edna Dingler Bohanan.  Mr. Bohanan worked in telecommunication retiring from Bellsouth and from Nortel working as a Network Manager.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Bohanan.

 Mr. Bohanan is survived by his children and their spouses; Russ Bohanan of Royston, GA, Dara and Chuck McDaniel of Monticello, GA, Brent and Jennifer Bohanan of Auburn, GA and Bonny and Stephen Hicks of Watkinsville, GA eleven grandchildren; Adam Bohanan, Hannah Bohanan, Emma Bohanan, Lydia Bohanan, Joshua Bennett, Devin McDaniel, Chelsea Long, Jacob Bohanan, Joseph Bohanan, Natalie Hicks and Nicolas Hicks six great grandchildren; Abbie and Sophie Bohanan, Austin and Gavin Bennett, Connor Hughey and Jonathan Hunter.  

 Funeral services for Mr. Bohanan will be held at 2 O’clock Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00pm until 2:00pm prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers those desiring make contributions to Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550 Atlanta, Georgia 30346.  J.C.
