Mrs. Mollie R. Hinton, 83, a longtime resident of Social Circle, died Feb. 11. The daughter of the late Dan and Lena (Etheridge) Rainey, she was born in Walton County in 1925. Mrs. Hinton was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and the Pine Grove Women's Club. Mrs. Hinton was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jack Hinton.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Ed and Ann Hinton of covington; Jeff and Marion Hinton of Savannah; daughters and son-in-law Jocelyn and Charles Shannon of Social Circle, Gale Mancuso of Social Circle; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, Feb. 13, from one p.n. to 3 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Michael Dunbar officiating. Interemnt will be in Lawnwood Memorial park. In lieu of flowrs, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Hinton to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Churhc, 55 Ga. Highway 229, Social Circle.
