Mrs. Melody Lynn Ingle, 60, of Conyers, began her eternal life with her heavenly Father on March 9. She was a teacher and recently retired from the Newton County School System. She was a devout Christian, always following God’s will for her life and loved to support her husband in his music ministry. Mrs. Ingle loved teaching, reading, taking scenic motorcycle rides, spending time at the lake and going to yard sales with her family. She looked forward to her monthly Girls Night Out group dinners with her adored friends. Most of all, she treasured spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.

She is survived by her loving family which includes her beloved husband of 40 years, Kent; two sons and their spouses Kevin and Kristie Ingle of Marietta, Klint and Vanessa Ingle of Buford; grandsons Karson and Kollin; parents Dr. Don and Lavona Davis of Social Circle; siblings Sharon Vaughn Janet Adams and Randy Davis; and many nephews and nieces.

A memorial service for Mrs. Ingle will be held Tuesday, March 12 at 3 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. Tony Howeth and Dr. Don Davis officiating, and interment following in Social Circle City Cemetery with Rev. David Stroup officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, March 11 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Mrs. Ingle loved spreading the word of God, so in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Newton Baptist Church — Youth or Missions Fund, newtonbaptistchurch.org.
