Martha Delia McLendon, age 103, Rutledge, died on July 22, 2015. She was born in Thomson on April 11, 1912, to the late Annie Kate and William Samuel Shields. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Nick McLendon.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Ann and Jerry Morrow of Loganville; sons and daughters in law, Joe and Paula McLendon of Brunswick, Tom and Kay McLendon of Rutledge; seven grandchildren and 12 ½ great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Social Circle Tribble Chapel. Interment followed at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens in Thomson.
