Marion Joanne Womack, 91, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on July 19, 2022.
She was born on April 4, 1931 to the late Byron and Gladys Stillman. Marion loved to read and travel. Her travels took her through Europe and other international countries many times. She was a very service and family-oriented person who would always help anyone in need. Marion was a gifted cook and enjoyed sharing meals with her friends and family. She never met a stranger and was likeable from the very first encounter with her. To know Marion was to love her. She enjoyed animals and loved the charitable work of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Project.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by five siblings. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 53 wonderful years, Jim Womack; children: Dale Marlow (Lisa), Dave Marlow (Maribeth), Laurakelly Harper (Neil); grandchildren: Nicholas Marlow, Kevin Marlow, Drew Marlow, Matthew Marlow, Ashley Harper, Riley Harper; great grandchildren: Jordan, Cooper, Chloe, and Lanie.
Marion’s family received friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service following.
