Margaret Anderson, 64, of Covington, passed away Nov. 2 at home, following a long battle with cancer. Ms. Anderson owned and operated numerous beauty salons in Covington. She had a passion for helping others and often volunteered to assist anyone in need. Ms. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie T. and Ella (McCord) Osborn and her brothers, Roy Osborn, Robert Osborn, Clark Osborn and Junior Osborn.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff Criswell, Mike and Barbara Criswell; grandchildren, Austin Criswell, Jessica Criswell and Ashley Hollingsworth, all of Covington; sisters, Ruth Bradford and Mary Rutledge, both of Covington and Ann Dodd, of Porterdale; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ms. Anderson will be held at noon, Nov. 29 in the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with the Rev. Tim Walden and the Rev. Mike Franklin officiating, and interment will follow in Covington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday two hours prior to the service, from 10 a.m.–noon.
