Lula Clara "Peewee" Ricks of Covington, passed away March 15, 2012, at the age of 62. Mrs. Ricks enjoyed crafts, sewing, bowling, and butterflies. She loved her family dearly, and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Crawford and Essie Jurell (McElhannon) White; and her sister, Betty Jean Hatchcock.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Wayne Ricks of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Marlon Golden of Oxford, Sabrina and Richard Greenhaw of Phenix City, AL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kyla and Blaine Barton of Stockbridge, Brenda and Howard "Duck" Hanright of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Shirley White of Conyers; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Ricks were held Saturday, March 17, 2012, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell
& Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Larry Bennett and Pastor Frank Kitchens officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
