Mrs. Lorene Darby Rollins, 99, of Covington passed away June 10, at Riverside Health Care Center. Mrs. Rollins loved playing cards and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Wilmer Chambers, Harvey Rollins; daughter Barbara Chambers; and her parents Robert Newton and Lena (Parker) Darby; a brother; a sister.

Mrs. Rollins is survived by her sister Sara McDowell of Rockmart; brother and sisters-in-law, Wallace and Lillie Darby, of Rockmart, Martha Chambers of Covington; brother-in-law Warren Kirkus of Oxford; niece Pat Daniel of Covington; as well as other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rollins were held yesterday, June 22, at Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, in Covington, with Dr. Joe Peabody officiating. Interment followed in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
