            Lisa Irene Mallory, 37, of Roswell, died Jan. 7. She was born in 1971 in DeKalb County and grew up and lived in Covington for many years before moving to Roswell. While living in Covington, Mrs. Mallory attended Newton high School and Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church, Porterdale. She was a member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Mrs. Mallory was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Johnny Mallory.

            Surviving are children Robbie and Christy Mallory, both of Roswell; mother and stepfather Ruth Frix and John Mervis of Roswell; father and stepmother Jimmy and Jean Jordan of Conyers; grandmother Irene Frix of Covington; brothers and sister Susan Blankenship of Cleveland, Stacy Jordan of Locust Grove, Christopher Jordan of Covington; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and close friends.

            Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral  Home with the Rev. Jim Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood memorial park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Jan. 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation at www.ccfa.org.
