Lisa Farmer, of Covington, passed away Feb. 2, 2012, at the age of 37. Lisa was a member of Covington Christian Church and worked as a supervisor for Love's Truck Stop. She was a very loving aunt, and loved her entire family dearly. She also had a love for animals, especially her dog, Buddy. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Tony Farmer and her grandmother, Helen Ivey.
Survivors include her mother, Beverly Farmer of Covington; sister, Cindy Lewis of Tifton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Susan Gilder of Germany, Robby and Jennifer Farmer of Loganville; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Andrew, Alexsis, Lyndi, Mason, Aeriel, Sydni, Dylan, and Paige.
Funeral Services for Lisa will be held Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Scott Moore officiating, and interment following in Covington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, Feb. 5, from 1 – 4 p.m. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to the American Epilepsy Society, 342 North Main St., Suite # 301, West Hartford, CT 06117-2507.
