Service of Christian Burial Rite I was offered for Linda Anne Butler Olsen at Macedonia Baptist Church on Saturday, March 23.  Mrs. Olsen passed away at age 81 at Haven Hospice in Palatka, Florida after short illness.

Mrs. Olsen was born Sept. 25, 1936 in Walnut Grove on the family farm of her maternal grandparents Samuel E. Poole and Ella Bogie Poole.

Mrs. Olsen graduated from Newton County High School in 1954, attended West Georgia College and graduated in 1958 from the University of Georgia.

Mrs. Olsen was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Olsen Jr. and daughter Anne Elizabeth Olsen.

Mrs. Olsen is survived by her son Robert E. Olsen III (Katherine Zeleski Olsen), of Johns Creek, Georgia, grandson Maxwell Olsen, and her daughter Jennifer M. M. Olsen (Dr. Timothy Pletcher), of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. 

Also surviving are her brother James Norman Butler Major USAF (Retired) and her sister Nada Jill Butler Major USA (Retired).
