Lawrence Anthony LaJaunie, III of Covington, passed away July 12, 2011, at Rockdale Medical Center. He was 46 years old at the time of his death. Mr. LaJaunie enjoyed fishing, talking, and was a LSU and Saints fan. He owned Lawrence's Barber Shop for 12 years. Mr. LaJaunie was an active member of Harvest Baptist Church, where he served on the fellowship team, security team, and was a volunteer for the Hope for Harvest Food Ministry. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Anthony LaJaunie, Jr., and brother, Troy Anthony LaJaunie.
Mr. LaJaunie is survived by his wife, Raeann Leggett LaJaunie of Covington; daughter, Lauren Raeann LaJaunie, and son, Nicholas Anthony LaJaunie, both of Covington; mother, Carolyn LaJaunie of Louisiana; sister and brother-in-law, Gwendolyn and David Conrad of Harvey, LA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. LaJaunie were held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 14, 2011, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, with Rev. Richard Culpepper officiating, and interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
