June Marett Stallings of Covington died October 24, 2011 at the age of 86.  She was born in South Carolina to the late Paul Thomas and Ianthe June Casey Marett and was the widow of Jack McDaniel Stallings.  June and Jack were married for 27 years and she worked for the Federal Government for 33 years.  June enjoyed traveling and volunteering at the Hospital.  She was a charter member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church.  She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.

 

June is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Craig Hudson; son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Janice Stallings; sisters and brothers-in-law, Meg and Jim McGeogh, Mona and Roy Brogdon, Nita Bailey and Virginia Bishop; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral Services for June will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011, 1:00 P.M. at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Covington with the Rev. Father Timothy H. Graham and Bishop Foley Beach officiating and interment will follow in Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, Conyers. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Redeemers Way Church Food Pantry, 2345 Hwy. 42 North, Jenkinsburg, GA 30234.
