Joyce A. Mason born January 14, 1937, left this life to be with her Lord February 6, 2015. Mrs. Mason’s passion was serving her God. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. Mrs. Mason was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved life and people. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Rella Allen; sister, Brenda Allen

Survivors include her devoted husband, Don Mason; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Barry Meltz; son, Ryan Mason; brother, Clarence Lee (Buddy) Allen and wife, Judy; sister-in-law, Berthalene Payne; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mason were held Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, 1 p.m. at Voice of Pentecost Church, 4648 Salem Road, in Covington, with Pastor Gavin Moon officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
