Joy Trapp of Conyers passed away January 18, 2014, at the age of 54. Joy was a very generous and loving mother who gave her all for the ones she loved. She lived for her family, and considered herself graced and honored to have her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Trapp; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James and Lois Davis; sister, Gloria Penn; and her brother, Tommy Davis.
Survivors include her former husband, Kenneth Johnson; son, Ken Johnson, both of Conyers; grandchildren, Ken and Ben Johnson of Tennessee; sisters and brother-in-law, Sandra and Buddy Dean of Ellaville, Ga., and Ginny Gordon of Americus; brother, James Davis Jr. of Americus; sister-in-law, Elaine Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd St., Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday two hours prior to the service, from 1-3 p.m.
