Mr. John Eric Bone of Atlanta passed away on October, 24, 2009 at the age of 39. Born in Newton County to Mr. Charles Bone and the late Mrs. Becky Barr Bone, he was a 1987 graduate of Newton County High School. He earned his B.A. degree in English from Davidson College in 1991 and then studied film and media production at U.N.C. at Chapel Hill. Mr. Bone enjoyed camping, reading, cooking and entertaining his many friends. He enjoyed life and will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Bone is survived by his father, Mr. Charles Bone of Covington; sister, Kimberly Bone Brooks of Loganville; brothers, Eddie Bone of Conyers, and Kevin Bone of Locust Grove; paternal grandmother, Retha Bone of Covington; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends. A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, Covington with Rev. Tim Graham officiating.
