James E. (Jimmy) Biggers of Covington, passed away March 5, 2011, at the age of 73. Mr. Biggers was born in Newborn, GA, to the late Eddie and Inez (Ivey) Biggers. He retired from Hercules, Inc., after 31 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed outdoor activities, and especially enjoyed playing horseshoes. He was an avid deer hunter and freshwater fisherman. Mr. Biggers was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

 

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Bernice (Hardy) Biggers; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mark Malcom; son, Ronnie Biggers, all of Covington; 2 grandchildren, Lindsay and Corey Dial, Katie Malcom, and her fiancé, Matt Harris; 3 great-grandchildren, triplets, Wyatt, Gracie, and Josie Dial; sister and brother-in-law, Sara and Johnny Harville of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Peggy Biggers of Conyers; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

A Memorial Service for Mr. Biggers was held Tuesday, March 8, 2011, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., with Rev. Tim Walden officiating. Donations may be made to At Home Hospice, 1374 Manchester Dr., Conyers, GA 30012.
