Jacob Fred Clodfelter, 84, of Social Circle, died on February 29, 2016. He was born in Comer on September 27, 1931, to the late Jesse Mae Christian Clodfelter and the late Mason Luther Clodfelter.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Clodfelter of Social Circle; daughter and son in law, Rachel and Alex Alley III, of Kingsland; grandchildren, Margaret Alley of Statesboro, and Alex Alley IV of Kingsland.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016, at 11 am at the Social Circle First Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Clegg and Rev. Mike Hardy officiating. Interment will follow at Social Circle City Cemetery.
