Harry O. Williamson, age 85, of Oxford, GA, died on September 11, 2009. Viewing and services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street Chapel, Covington, GA at 11 AM. Pastor Ray Warren will officiate and interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Gardens, 6201 Hillandale Dr., Lithonia, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 AM. Mr. Williamson was a loving, compassionate man, always smiling and loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and attended Forrest Hills Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, GA for many years. Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Gussie Adair Williamson; and his 3 brothers. Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife, Mary Jo (Harman) Williamson, daughters, Harriett Williamson, Terrie Eshbaugh, and husband, Bill Eshbaugh; son, Mike Williamson (deceased) and daughter-in-law, Chris Williamson Hartley; granddaughter, Amanda Little and husband, Dan Little; and Great-granddaughters, Maggie and Gracie Little; niece, Angie Jones; nephew, Rob Williamson. The family would like to thank Dr. Kenneth Hoose and his staff for years of special care and friendship. Also, the family thanks Abbey Hospice for their care and assistance.
