Freda Ann Shellnut Jones, 60 of Jackson, passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She was born in Loganville to the late Ben and Daphene Swaney Shellnut. Freda was a loving wife, mother and sister. She is preceded in death by her sister Anita Allen.

Freda is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Allen B. Jones, Sr. of Jackson; son Allen B. Jones, Jr. of Jackson; and sister, Vicki Davis of Juliette.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at noon in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Joseph.
