Florine W. Hardy of Covington died July 17 at her residence. She was born in1919 in Jackson, the daughter of Otis and Lelia Woods. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed baby sitting for her friends and neighbors.

Mrs. Hardy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Billy and Nellie Hardy of Covington, Gene and Joyce Hardy of Covington, Ronald Hardy of Covington, daughter-in -law Kathy Hardy of Jackson; sister Mary Lou Bramlett of Covington; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Perry Hardy, mother and father Lelia and Otis Woods, daughter Hazel McGiboney, son Tommy Hardy and brother David Woods.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. July 19, 2013 at the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Chaplin Jonathan Spancer officiating. Interment will be at Lawnwood Memorial Park. Guest may sign the online register book at www.wheelerfuneralhome.com.
