Edna Dunevant Wilson of Covington passed away January 28, 2016, at the age of 95. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Porterdale Baptist Church where she enjoyed worship and fellowship with her church family. She retired from Covington Molding after more than 20 years of service. Famous for her biscuits, she enjoyed cooking and family gatherings under the old oak tree. In her previous years, she and her husband loved traveling together. Mrs. Wilson’s greatest joy was working in her yard. Preceding her in death were her husband, Judson Wilson; parents, Sam and Susie Dunevant; and six siblings.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Mashburn of Covington; Gary Mashburn of Spring Hill, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Wilson will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016, 3 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street in Covington. Rev. Dickie Johnson officiated and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
