David Mask, age 59, of Covington died November 1, 2009.  He was born March 7, 1950 to the late W.M. Mask and Betty Mask who survives him.  Mr. Mask served proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; he was a longtime member of Stewart Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing music.  He loved his family and especially spending time with”the grandboy”.  Mr. Mask worked as a contractor for many years in and around Newton County. 

Mr. Mask is survived by his Wife, Judy Mask of Covington, Daughter and Son-in-law; Jennifer and Rick Guice of Covington, Grandson; Brock Guice, Mother; Betty Mask of Covington, Brother and Sister-in-law; Danny and Darol Mask, of Covington, Sister and Brother-in-law; Sheryl and Mike Hamner, of Covington.

A memorial service for Mr. Mask will be held at 11:00AM, November 3, 2009 at the Chapel of Harwell-Wheeler Funeral Home, with Mr. Sammy Ozburn officiating.  In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice.  Friends may sign the on-line register at www.wheelerfuenralhome.com.
