Charles Byron Christie, 76, of Eatonton passed away at his residence. Mr. Christie was a truck driver for most of his life and a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Roma Bowie Christie; children Charles "Chuck" Byron Christie Jr. and wife Darlene of Walton County, Carla Herrin and husband David of Powder Springs and Ken Jackson and wife Susan of Monticello; grandchildren Matthew and wife Holly Christie and Andrew Christie; Katie, Daniel and Caroline Herrin; Taylor, Cristopher, Amanda, Daniel and Rachael Jackson; great-granddaughter Ryleigh Christie.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Lone Oak Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Charles Christie Sr. Memorial Fund C/O Bank of Monticello, Monticello, Ga. 31064.
