Cary Flitter

Cary Flitter, of Covington, passed away November 14, 2016. He was born in Savannah to the late Frances Louise and Ernest Marion Flitter, of Thomaston, on February 28, 1937. Cary served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1965, and was stationed in Spain. He then ran an insulation company based in Covington for 27 years, before retiring to enjoy more time golfing.

Cary is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Ann; son, George (Tina) Delvalle; daughters, Bella (Phil) Wells, Lisa (Tim Lusby, Trisha Messerschmidtt and Brigitte Adams; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and sister, Frances (Thomas) Mixon.

Cary will be interred during a private ceremony at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. Visitation and services are Friday, November 18, 2016, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Centerhill Baptist Church, 6372 Ga. Hwy. 20, Loganville.
