Carol Tamplin, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the age of 64. Mrs. Tamplin loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Trips to the beach and the mountains were among her favorite ways to spend time with family. Compassionate and kind by nature, Mrs. Tamlin took pleasure in caring for others. Her joy in giving was especially evident during Christmas – her favorite holiday. Mrs. Tamlin took great pleasure in buying for those she loved, or those in need. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Elizabeth (Canup) Savage.
Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Bruce Tamplin; daughter and son-in-law, Kerre and Jason Streetman of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Della Hyde of Oxford; step-son, Johnny Tamplin of Madison; grandchildren, Macy Streetman, Caitlin Streetman, Austin Streetman, Blake Griffis, Ethan Hyde, Braxton Hyde, Dennis Hyde; brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Carol Savage; and niece, April Savage, all of Oxford.
A private service will be held at a later date.
