C. Annette Bone, J.D., of Brunswick died March 8. Ms. Bone earned her Bachelor of Science from Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, her Master's from Georgia State University in Atlanta and her Juris Doctorate from Atlanta Law School. She was an entrepreneur and instructor in tax services and real estate and was employed by Jackson Hewitt of Brunswick as tax instructor and office manager for several years. She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Bone, brothers Howell R. Bone and Harry James Bone, sister-in law Becky Bone and brother in law Michael Knight.
She is survived by her mother Retha Bone of Covington; long-time companion Ruby Frances Long of Brunswick; brothers Charles Bone of Covington and Greg Bone (Marie) of Social Circle; sisters Ginger Tucker (Phil) of Oxford, Nancy Knight (Harry Weaver) of Covington, and Pat Middlebrooks (Ray) of Porterdale; sisters-in-law Sara Bone of Covington and Carol Bone of Conyers; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14 at 4 p.m. at Prospect United Methodist Church, Covington. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Heartland Hospice, 1109 Fountain Lake Drive, Brunswick, Ga. 31520.
