Brigitte Cabiness of Conyers, GA died Saturday November 26, 2011.  She was born on October 7, 1946 in Burg am Fehmarn , Germany to Peter and Ursula (Heiden) Schieweck.   While in Germany she was a Physical Therapist specializing in Vojta therapy to babies and young children with central nervous system disturbances (Cerebral Palsy).   There are a lot of young adults walking and running around the world with fewer physical handicaps because of her therapy.   In her 40s she returned to the University and received her BA and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.  Studying and learning were the best years of her life.  She had a Golden heart, was a Christian, a very giving person, and really touched the lives of almost everyone that met her.   The World is a better place because she was part of it. 

Brigitte is survived by her husband of 36+ years, Leland R. Cabiness of Conyers; her brother Peter Schieweck, and her niece Brigit Lent of Conyers. 

Services will be held at Prospect United Methodist Church with Rev. Ronny Brannen officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service which will begin at 1700 ( 5 PM) on Thursday 01 December.                                                                                                                Guests may sign the online register book at www.wheelerfuneralhome.com.
