Mr. Brad Curtis Boling of Covington passed away April 17 at his residence.

He was born in 1966 in Atlanta, the son of Charles Brent and Gloria Simpson Boling.

Prior to his illness, Mr. Boling was very involved in his children’s sports teams by coaching or helping in any area that was needed.

He enjoyed working out and even continued through this past December.

The beach and the lake were where he found his peace by boating, skiing, tubing and teaching family and friends how to ski.

Mr. Boling enjoyed cooking out for family and friends and was known for his special hamburgers.

His never-back-down attitude was an inspiration to all.

Surviving are wife Lori King Boling of Covington; daughter Maci Jane Boling; son Charles Gibson "Gib" Boling; father Charles Brent Boling of Conyers; brother Chad James and Angela Boling of Loganville; sister Amy Sue and Matt Reid of Cumming; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jane and Larry King of Covington; numerous uncles and aunts, niece and nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Simpson Boling.

Services will be held 2 p.m. tomorrow, April 20, at Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Lewis of Sharon Baptist Church officiating.

Interment will be at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jackie Beam, Clay Beam, Avery Beam, Amir Sports, Russell Swindle and Randy Trowell.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today, April 19.
