HILLEY Mrs. Bernice Needham Hilley, of Covington, GA, died Monday, July 12, 2010. She was born in Walton County, GA to the late Grady and Pearl Cofer Needham. Mrs. Hilley retired in 1989 after 30 years of employment with Belk as a sales clerk and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a life-time resident of Newton County. Mrs. Hilley was preceded in death by husband: Morris Hilley. She is survived by son: Wayne Hilley of Oxford, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Ranny Peek; sister: Agnes James of Conyers, GA; grandchildren: Lynn and Rick Gage of Alpharetta, GA; Gaye Bryant of Conyers, GA; Dawn and Ritchie Childers; Brian Hilley, both of Oxford, GA; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home, Covington, GA. Rev. Ranny Peek and Rev. Rick Gage will officiate. Interment will be held at Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Saturday, July 17, 2010.
