Mr. Archie Robinson, age 87, of Covington formerly of Crossville, Tennessee passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018.  He was born April 25, 1930, in Nashville, Georgia to Archie and Carrie Lee Fletcher Robinson who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Robinson was a Lockman working for the Corp of Engineers for many years.  After retirement, he and his wife became full-time campers.  Mr. Robinson also served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a loving husband, father, great-grandfather, brother and friend. 

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife Betty Robinson, his children Yvonne and Rodney Capshaw of Senoia, Lisa and George Gardner of Covington, Michael and Linda Robinson of Covington and Patricia Williamson of Sparta, Tennessee and his sister Frances Barwick of Springhill, Florida, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Robinson will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Capshaw officiating.  Interment will follow at New Covington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m.. Thursday prior to the service. J.C.
