Mrs. Ann Berry Williams of Monroe, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2018 at the age of 88. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was born in Griffinon May 21, 1929. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, T. Jack Williams of Monroe, her daughter Carroll Williams Brewton of Monroe, her son Tom Williams and his wife Carole of Moscow, Idaho, her daughter Mandy Williams Bond and her husband Wesley of Monroe, her grandchildren Michael Brewton, Sara Smith, Daniel Brewton, Alexis Bond, her brother William (Bill) Berry and his wife Faye of Gainesville, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by their infant son Thomas Crosson Williams, her parents, Thomas Crosson and Sara Gay Berry of Newborn, Georgia, her brother Thomas Crosson Berry and his wife Katherine of Niceville, Florida.
Mrs. Williams taught second grade in Monroe schools for many years and enjoyed teaching multiple generations of families in Walton County. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Monroe where she was a member of the Banner and Wesley Fellowship Sunday School classes and the United Methodist Women. She volunteered faithfully with F.I.S.H Ministries for many years.
A memorial service was held on March 17at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Monroe at 400 S. Broad St., Monroe, Georgia. The family received friends at the church a 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Rest Haven Cemetery in Monroe. In lieu of flowers donations to First United Methodist Church of Monroe or your favorite charity are appreciated.
