Police have apprehended a suspect that attempted to rob the Bank of North Georgia around 10 a.m.

The bank is located on the corner of U.S. Highway 278 and Mill Street. The suspect was arrested on Newton Drive at Mill Street approximately 10 minutes after the incident occured.
