A 32-year-old woman was arrested and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act after reportedly punching and throwing pizzas on her boyfriend early Saturday morning.
Deputies were called to Salem Road where they met with the victim. He had blood coming from his head and on his shirt. He allegedly told deputies that while he was talking on his cell phone, his girlfriend, Teronica Michelle Lackey, had walked up and punched him in the back of the head before throwing the pizzas on him.
When he exited the home to speak to Lackey's sister in an effort to get her to calm her sister down, Lackey allegedly came after him and threw a cell phone at his head, causing a small cut. When he told her he was calling 911, she left in a gold Camry heading toward Porterdale.
Lackey was found early the next morning and placed under arrest on the charges.
