A woman was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing Monday after workers called Covington Police and reported that she was begging for money.

Covington Police Department officers arrived about 1 p.m. Monday and met with 42-year-old Niza Marianellie Delrosario, someone they recognized, since officers had told her previously that she could not go back to Caldwell Bankers. When they spoke with her she reportedly told them she was "just trying to get some money for her medicine."

The woman who had called to complain about Delrosario begging for money allegedly told officers that she had taken pictures of all the people that Delrosario had begged money from.

Delrosario was arrested and transported to the Newton County Detention Center where she was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing.
