Two wardens from the Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center, Jamie Dowd and Pete Griffin (pictured), recently visited the Covington Rotary. They brought along a red tailed hawk, also known as a Chicken Hawk.

The Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center is a 6,400 acre preserve managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and is located near Mansfield.

The center is open free to the public and features fishing for children and offers classes on nature and other wildlife activities.
