Voting advice from the secretary of state

Polling precincts across Georgia will be open to voters from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6 for presidential election and statewide and local electons. Individuals can verify their polling location by visiting the Secretary of State's My Voter Page - www.sos.ga.gov/mvp.

If voters experience any issues, they should immediately contact the poll manager on site or the Georgia Secretary of State's Office. Please remember that voters should also bring with them any valid state or federal government issued photo ID.

Types of valid photo ID include:
- A Georgia's Driver's License, even if expired
- Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state
- Valid U.S. passport
- Valid U.S. military photo ID
- Valid tribal photo ID
