MONROE, Ga. - A coalition of black lawmakers and social justice groups are gathering to re-enact the 1946 lynching of two black couples at Moore's Ford bridge in northeast Georgia.

The Georgia Association of Black Elected Officials is organizing the annual reenactment on the Moore's Ford Bridge on Saturday at noon.

The group is also urging witnesses of the killings of Roger and Dorothy Malcom and George and Mae Murray Dorsey to come forward.

State Rep. Tyrone Brooks of Atlanta has long championed the effort for justice in the case. He says his message to the killers is "you can run but you can't hide forever."

The four victims were pulled from a car, dragged to the Moore's Ford Bridge and shot to death in July of 1946.
