The roundabout at the intersection of Turner Lake Road and Clark Street is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. Nov. 30, weather permitting, according to a release from the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Drivers are urged to yield at entry; traffic inside the roundabout has the right of way. All entering motorists should yield to vehicles in the roundabout and then enter the roundabout with a right turn. All traffic circulates around the central island in a counterclockwise movement and makes a right turn to exit the roundabout.
Once the roundabout is open and fully operational, Old Clark Street at Turner Lake Road will be permanently closed.
