You can buy pricey dog treats from the specialty store or you can DIY for gourmet treats your canine friends won't soon forget. With just four ingredients, this recipe is truly frugal and fabulous.

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. The number of treats you get from each batch depends upon how big you cut each treat. Mix together two cups flour and one tablespoon baking powder. In another bowl, mix together one cup peanut butter and one cup milk. (I use whole milk, but you can use whatever you like.) Combine the flour mixture and the peanut butter mixture until dough forms. Place on a floured surface and knead for about 4 minutes or until dough is pliant. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut using cookie cutters. (Don't feel limited to dog bone shapes!) Place cut outs on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Cool dog treats on a wire rack and store in an air tight container. Easy peasy and your dogs will love them!
