Charges have been brought against three men in separate cases of child molestation.

Donta Quintrell Johnson, 26, is being held without bond on charges of parole violation, criminal damage to property, cruelty to children, rape, aggravated child molestation and aggravated sodomy.

Allegations against Johnson were brought to authorities on July 4, according to Newton County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Cortney Morrison. A mother reported that Johnson, who lived in the home with her and her children, was accused of sexually assaulting her 13-year-old and 8-year-old daughters on multiple occasions. He was also accused of physically assaulting her 11-year-old son, who had visible injuries to his face, according to Morrison.

With an escort from deputies to get her children from the house and take them to the hospital, the women reportedly received a call from Johnson, who said he was on his way home. When they arrived at the house, Johnson was not there, but the home had been ransacked.

This particular investigation is still open and ongoing, according to Morrison.

Scott Anthony Davis, 42, is accused of bringing a 15-year-old Spalding County girl to a cabin in Newton County on two separate occasions to have sex.

The teen's mother reported the incidents, which allegedly occurred in late summer last year, to the NCSO and Davis was arrested and charged with aggravated child molestation, sexual battery, enticing a child for indecent purposes and sexual battery against a child under 16. He remains in the Newton County Jail without bond.

Lastly, a Newton County Grand Jury true billed additional charges on Robert Randall Palmer, 23, who was originally charged in August of 2011. Palmer was one of three men charged with aggravated child molestation. He now has additional charges of aggravated child molestation and aggravated sodomy.

The charges against Palmer stem from when the 13-year-old victim reportedly told her mother that three men (Palmer, 20-year-old James Palmer and a 14-year-old male) - who were all known to her family - had sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions.
