The Arts Association in Newton County presents the Covington Regional Ballet’s annual performance of The Nutcracker on Saturday and Sunday at Newton High School’s Porter Hall. This year’s performance features guest dancer Adam Schiffer of the Carolina Ballet.

The Saturday performance will begin at 7 p.m. while Sunday’s is a matinee beginning at 3 p.m. Tickets cost $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens (65+) and $5 for students (under 18). Tickets may be purchased online at the Arts Association’s Web site, www.newtoncountyarts.org.
