DECATUR, Ga. - School officials say an argument between two students led to a stabbing on Monday at Southwest DeKalb High School east of Atlanta.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that a 17-year-old student was taken to Atlanta Medical Center after the Monday afternoon stabbing.

DeKalb County Schools spokesman Walter Woods said the teenager was being treated for a one-inch stab wound to his left forearm.

DeKalb County police and school officials were looking for the 18-year-old suspect.

Woods said the stabbing stemmed from a dispute that happened over the weekend and continued Monday.
