You can learn a bit about alligator hunting and the hard life of the back woods at noon on July 23 when R.J. and Jay Paul Molinere from the History Channel series "Swamp People" make an appearance at the Mall at Stonecrest.

R.J. Molinere and his son, Jay Paul, are from Houma, La. They're also members of Houma Nation, a North American tribe in southern Louisiana in which alligator hunting is a focal point of the culture, according to a release from Stonecrest.

R.J. hunts and fishes for other game on his family's 500 acres near Grand Blois, La., and also does some shrimping. He serves as an elder in the Houma Nation and is a four-time U.S. arm wrestling champion.

Jay Paul, the son, is a boxing and mixed martial arts competitor who won the Gulf Coast Boxing Championship in 2008, the Louisiana Golden Gloves Division Championship in 2009, and the Arnold Sports Festival Boxing event in 2010 in his 152-pound weight class.

A purchase is required to meet the Molineres. The mall is at 2929 Turner Hill Road in Lithonia.
