Susie Loy (Jeffries) Gunn, 92, of Mansfield, passed away July 18. She loved gardening, traveling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Grady Gunn and parents Robert Lee and Lenora (Digby) Jeffries.

Survivors include her children and their spouses Grace Edge of Covington, Shirley and Ken Claypool of Opp, Ala., James and Jean Gunn of Greensboro, June Crenshaw of Mansfield, Evelyn and Ronnie Hale of Mansfield, David Gunn of Mansfield; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sister Mary Dial of Covington; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and special caregiver Debra Spillers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gunn will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow, July 21, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating, and interment following in Carmel Cemetery, in Mansfield. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today, July 20 at the funeral home.
