LAWRENCEVILLE - Owners of a hot air balloon reported stolen in Gwinnett County say the aircraft has been found in the northeast Georgia town of Winder.

WSB-TV reports that Gwinnett police found the balloon on Stanley Road in Winder.

The balloon was stolen Monday night from a trailer on Collins Hill Road in Lawrenceville, where it was being stored.

Owner Rick Ferrall said the balloon is custom-designed, the manufacturer is no longer in business and it can't be replicated.

Before the aircraft was found, Debi Ferrall had pleaded that whoever stole the balloon just leave it somewhere such a parking lot so the couple could find it.

Winder is about 18 miles east of Lawrenceville.
