Spring Ministries, a new ministry aiming to help single parents in Newton, Jasper and Butts counties, is hosting a tea party and silent auction to raise money.
The tea party and silent auction will take place at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 4 at the Kindle House, 11967 Ga. Highway 212 in Jasper County, right across from Frank’s Restaurant. Look for the green balloons that will be on the mailbox.
Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/spring-ministries-tea-partysilent-auction-tickets-10562385379.
Spring Ministries’ mission is to help rebuild, restore and strengthen single-parent families through Christ’s love and practical help, said founder Terri Webster.
Donations are also being sought for the auction and anyone can donate.
“Anything from the smallest to the largest, homemade, store bought, it doesn’t matter,” Webster said.
Spring Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all gifts and donations are tax deductible.
