Ring in the Christmas season with a visit to Santa Claus at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Mall at Stonecrest in Lithonia. Santa's workshop will be located on the lower level of the mall outside Sears.

A few of the Smurfs will be at Stonecrest to help welcome Santa to the mall; all ages are invited to meet Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Clumsy on Nov. 17 beginning at noon.

Pictures with Santa will be offered daily between his arrival and the night of Christmas Eve. Hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Hours for Sundays will be extended during the month of December.

The Mall at Stonecrest is located off I-20, exit 75 at Turner Hill Road in Lithonia and has five major department stores, 130 specialty stores, a 16 screen AMC Theatre and a food court.
