After having to postpone the 23rd edition of the Cars of the Past show, the Covington Rotary Club couldn't have asked for a nicer day for Sunday's show.

The annual fundraiser for the club, and its Empty Stocking Fund Christmas fundraiser, saw more than 150 classic, rare and suped-up cars, along with motorcycles and carts fill the Covington Square.

Among the top 100 cars were Camaro's, Chevy and Ford trucks form the 1950's, Shelby Mustangs, a Model A and super charged Mopars.

A 1966 Plymouth GTO was named the Rotary pick, selected by club members volunteering at the annual event.

A 1941 Willis all-steel hot rod built by Len Evans of Conyers won best of show. The rare car is a roadster built from a steel frame, featuring a 540 cubic inch, blown fuel injection 850 horse power motor.

All proceeds from car registration, sponsorship and a 50/50 raffle will go to helping the club in its annual Empty Stocking Fund. Empty Stocking brought presents to around 500 local children in need in 2014.
