The Porterdale Police Department said a 14-year-old girl who had been reported missing has been located.

Tonya Galvin turned herself in to police on Wednesday afternoon, said PPD Investigator Doug Clifton. The circumstances of why the teen went missing were not disclosed and Clifton said the investigation is ongoing.

Glavin was reported missing Tuesday around 7 a.m. when her mother went to wake her up for school and discovered her daughter was gone. According to Clifton, Tonya told her mother that if she ran away again they would not find her.
